so, like, jury duty SUCKS. i wasn't able to work my shifts yesterday "just in case" the courts needed me, but i wound up doing nothing here at home all day and could have been working. same with monday. GRRR. at least i've definitely got a shift tonight, be it esme's or melody's. and i also know that next week i'll be at cascal pretty much all day, every day.
yesterday erika and guy were here and we all just hung out, played games, talked, watched movies. it was nice. then ben came home and we all went out to dinner. yum. ravioli with cream sauce. again i say yum. oh, and there was a little puppy on the way to the restaurant who ran straight to me so i could pet him. it was SO CUTE and i can't forget his tiny, tiny brown face. i can't fully describe how cute the whole scene was. i want to take care of that puppy. f-o-r-e-v-e-r.
