hey all.
yesterday i downloaded a junkload of coldplay songs from audiogalaxy. i downloaded a song called "shooting star", which was listed under coldplay, but there's no way that this is coldplay. thing is, i like the song and i have no idea who the hell's singing it. hmph! the lead vocalist reminds me ever-so-faintly of maynard keenan. but this man sounds like he might be irish.
i'm liking reggae more and more lately. my brother's influence, no doubt. it's weird...he went away for the weekend to a friend camp at sebago lake, in the middle of nowhere. they had nothing to do, and when he came back last night, he was spending time with all of us, together and individually. he said that since they were so bored out there, he spent a lot of time thinking. cool.
23 days til i move into orono. i'm scared, excited, doubtful and hopeful, all at the same time. i'm scared that i won't be able to handle the classes. i'm scared that i can't hack it as an artist, a poet, or anything else except an underpaid employee at an ice cream shop. i know, i sound all stupid and pitiful. there's got to be something out there to inspire confidence in me. i hope i find it before the 29th.
in other news, my dog is wonderful(c: aaaaand...allie needs to go finish cleaning. bubye.
