howdy, everyone!
i'm in a fantastic mood tonight. you know -- one of those dreamy moods. i have a feeling this may not continue once i am back at school; regardless how nice it may be to have independence, nothing can ever compare to home. the dining hall food is nothing compared mom's homecooked meals, my room in orono is a sad cardboard box compared to my room here, and the faces i see at school everyday will never compare to the ones i see here.
i know i can't live here forever, and i know the circumstances that brought me here for these past two weeks weren't pleasant ones, but, god, it's been great being back.
