i'm laying on the sarcasm tonight, lick it up

hey-yo. so, i found a lovely MP3 of Fiona Apple covering the Beatles song, *Across the Universe*. i printed out the lyrics, too, and i may just make an entry of these lyrics to show you all how brilliant John Lennon and Paul McCartney are. if you don't like the Beatles, i don't give a hairy goat's anus. but you should read the lyrics anyway, they are very nice.

i finally sent the thank-you letter to Chelsie. sadly, she is still at work as i write this. but this time she's busy, so she most likely won't be able to check her e-mail. she's watching over a jazz festival. how nice. i love jazz. it's much better live. well actually virtually everything is better when it's life, but i don't know that my interest would be kept by a tape/cd of jazz. i much more enjoy seeing the musicians, watching their passionate movements. and you all know that jazz artists seem more into what they are doing than other people. every performance i have seen of jazz shows the musicians dancing and really enjoying themselves as they play. yes, this sounds like fun. gosh i want to dance. not cheesy shit like pop artists do in every single music video, but classic dancing, like the tango. how many people know how to tango these days? few, my friends. few.

i watched the movie Double Jeopardy tonight with my mom. Ashley Judd is a great actress. the movie was really good, too. i liked it more than Eye of the Beholder because the resolution was...well, there was a resolution, period. need i say more?

i have new pants, i'm wearing them right now. apparently they make me look slimmer. cool. they're loud too. i make some NOISE when i walk around. and you know what? i like that. i can walk somewhere familiar now and people 2 rooms away can say, "oh my, is that allison i hear? yes! it is her, i know those pants!!"

well Tinkerbell signed up for driver's ed. what does this mean? this means that Lila and i will also be signing up, so that the trio of us can be together and not feel unncessary funkiness around strangers. so, by next year, i will not need to take the bus. the bus ride doesn't bother me, to be honest. i'd like to be home earlier, sure, but it's not some outrageously embarrassing thing. so i take the bus, who gives a poo? if any of you do give a poo, do this for me - try to touch your belly with your tongue. e-mail me when you've accomplished this feat. maybe i will mail you some cheese...maybe not.

this diary is too long. i'm stopping now so you all can protect your eyes from further damage. i am so considerate, i know that's why you all love me. mm mm mm.

kisses,

al
