study hall thoughts

i'm in school...i'd rather not be. no good reason either but hey... i'm glad because i have gym tomorrow and it's actually cool this time, on top of the fact that i will have 3rd lunch whenever possible now and that means, time with my friends and never having lunch alone...which, as i'm sure you can imagine, sucks royally.
i haven't read the 1st chapter of Lord of the Flies for english yet...which i have next. (yes, this is my study hall but i'm blowing it off so i can entertain you fine people for a minute or two:o)
i kinda miss my brother. it was cool while he was home and katie had left for college. he was like...well, like he used to be. i suppose he hasn't changed, but i never see him anymore and it was wonderful being around just him. not with his *shadow* around. yeah, that's what we call her now...his shadow. maybe we should just combine their names into one. ya think? they can be a unit.
i started reading another Dean Koontz novel last night- Eyes of Darkness. i will update you on it if i think it's decent.

i will be entering a poetry contest, everyone! if you'd like to enter also, there's a whole bunch of them going on at www.poetry.com. there was an ad in the newspaper and my mom demanded that i finally enter. well....geeee twist my arm, haha. i've wanted to enter one forever but there's shit to watch out for, ya know? like stupid ads that lie. gotta be careful. wish me luck! and for those of you who are also entering, good luck to you too(c:
