i have been listening to andrea bocelli/sarah brightman's "time to say goodbye." it is not in english. i think it's italian. sounds pretty. don't know what they're saying exactly. doesn't matter. the chords tell you what you can't translate yourself. i love this song...i suppose it is somewhat sad, but it doesn't depress the listener. it gives off a message like, "what we had was wonderful and i'll never forget you, my love, and now it's time to say goodbye." a mutual understanding between both parties. awww, hehe.
last night at work was so great. karie, melissa and i worked together. no customers came in for basically a full hour or more so we sat together and ate dinner and talked. then we went out back and inhaled helium and talked like fools for a little while. haha. i worked with kevin for the first couple of hours, then there was one hour where it was just he and i and no customers were coming in, so he starts talking about the movie Jaws and he's like, "my favorite part was..." and he starts reciting a few lines. so i'm thinking, hey, cool, he knows some of it by heart. some? ha. try the entire movie. he stood there, straight-faced, for 10 minutes, reciting an ENTIRE SCENE. wow.
megan i just read your entry. haha. yeah, we do that a lot, megan and i. there will be complete silence. we do it on the phone, too, until one of us simply says, "i have nothing to talk about...i'ma hang up now, byebye." tehe.
i get to rent a movie today! which one, which one...hmmmmm!
well my dad wants to tape "time to say goodbye"...he likes opera-esque music. who knew. well, goodbye, my loyal subjects.
