hey there, sweetcakes.
today was useless. no, let me reword that. i wasted today. but that's ok. that's what the weekend is for. i have a lot of homework to do tomorrow. but i'm working tomorrow so i will have some fun distraction.
anyhoo! after wasting a good portion of the day, i went to visit pepere at the hospital again. he's doing a lot better. his kidneys are failing though, so he's looking at dialysis for the rest of his life. i doubt he go through with it. honestly, i don't know if i'd care enough to either...3 times a week, 4 hours each time. blech. i suppose it's more the quality of life, than the length, that matters.
dad and i tried to go out to eat at the olive garden. 40-50 minute wait. then we tried bugaboo creek. 60-90 minute wait. then we tried lonestar. 60-75 minutes wait. then we went to chili's. 5-20 minute wait. SCORE! the food was good and all but i didn't know what to talk to dad about so there was very little conversation. i'm finding it very hard to be friends with him again.
my tongue hurts! it feels like all my tastebuds on the sides have been scratched off or something. OW!
i saw a bunny in portland today! it was cute and black with pointy ears! i went to go rescue it but it hopped away from me and onto the sidewalk for a stroll. i was cold, so i said, "bye bye, bunny! have a nice night!" and jumped back into the car.
hmmm, i believe i need some coffee ice cream. mmm, sugar.
