hey folks!!
you know that val/heath/kyla issue i was bugged about? all fixed! val actually talked to kyla and said, "listen, i just want you to know that i dont hate you. a lot of people have been saying that i hate you or i've given you dirty looks, but i want you to know that i haven't, and i've got absolutely nothing against you." and kyla basically responded with "ditto." yeeHAA! suck THAT, heath.
so, i learned of the problem at oscar's...apparently some moron with a u-haul truck thought he/she could make it through the drive-thru, and it didn't work so well. he/she exceeded the height limit and wound up tearing the structure apart completely, ripping out the drive-thru window as well. and so, oscar's is temporarily closed. the situation is stranger than i was expecting, but not worse. also, i've been forming some really great plans for oscar's to get involved with the community. what's funny is that ron and bill already think they are involved with the community, because they have one of those tiny candy-for-coins boxes on one of the napkin dispensers. i don't even know what the proceeds go to. blind camp? who knows. regardless, it's not enough. i should be the manager there. not that new guy dan, who was given the responsibility immediately upon arrival. errrr. i could make oscar's presence way more well-known in the community, if given the chance. just you wait...
ben and i are driving back to scarborough today. i'll be very sad to leave...i love this place, these people. it's such an energy-filled and fun atmosphere. and i'll be forever nostalgic about the time ben and i were together here. this is where we started, after all. *dreamy sigh* i love you, baaaby!
well, i've gotta make some breadsticks with cheese because darn it, my boyfriend is making me eat. (which isn't really so bad, actually.) bye everyone! have a sweet ass sweet day! mmmWA!
