i had a moment with a deer today! it was so wonderful. i looked outside and there was a doe lying behind a tree out back. the friends that had been hanging out with her earlier had left, so she was all alone. i was worried that she might be hurt or something. so i went outside and sat on the deck, just looking at her, and she just looked back at me completely unfazed. i went inside and when i came back out, she was still there but she'd stood up. lady deer was just fine! and so, there you go. an allison-and-deer moment.
