i want a bunny rabbit. and there was a toby puppy in my dream last night, it was pretty cool. *sighs* animals. i love them.
i've decided to live with ben and dugan. i suggested to val that she still come and get an apartment with whoever answers an ad for a roomie. she took that as, "i'm going to complete ditch you, but come anyway." so she wrote back to my e-mail and said she'll just go back to husson because it doesn't matter anymore. bah! negativity?? i think not, i shall shoo you away, you horrid thing! so i wrote back to her again and explained to her once again that i am not going to ditch her - we'll still hang out tons, and i would even help her find an apartment and a roomie...AND that i'd hang out at her place a lot in the beginning to break the ice between her and whoever her roommate would be. plus, girls nights. she loves girls nights. she hasn't written back yet, but i really hope i can convince her to come. husson is no good for her.
i sort of got a new job yesterday. it's the convenience store down at the beach. i went and talked to the guy and he says he will only be paying minimum wage. but i said that's okay as long as i have enough hours. however...then he was saying what he *really* needs people for is the weekends, and it didn't register until i got home that he may not be planning on a full-time thing for me there. in which case, i should just stay at oscars because i make a dollar more there. anyway, he's going to call me today and tell me if he wants me to work friday from 8-2, or if the weather is supposed to suck and he doesn't need me after all. we'll see. man, i need money.
i found an apartment in the classifieds today. $595, 2 bedrooms in the portland area. sounds kinda nice. by 'nice' i mean, the only affordable apartment i could find, lol. we'll see.
i was supposed to go driving with a private instructor at 8:30, but he called at 8 and said he was in kennebunk because the student he was with had thought that he test was in portland, but was actually in kennebunk, so he wouldn't be able to make it today. so we rescheduled for monday at 9am. man, i hope this doesn't happen again. the clock is tickin'!
ben comes home friday, yayyy!! i'm so stoked, you have no idea!
the weather today would normally be considered dreary, but since everything is so lush and springy, i am not going to be upset at all. there are like a million may flowers in the back yard. i love it! and my mom's umbrella trees have beautiful pink blossoms all over. ooo, and the lilac bushes are starting to get a lot of buds and leaves. woohoo!
