spooky, man

yesterday i worked for a while and then ben and i came back here. we went to the beach for a while and it was so nice. it was 5- or 6-something by that point, and nice and cool by the water. and i saw lots of dogs! we then came back here and watched stargate and afterwards we got into a discussion about sumerian culture. well, mostly it was him talking with me saying, "my god, that is creepy," every now and then. the sumerians knew so much that seems impossible for them to have known. how did they know about nuclear weapons? about a giant flood that had previously wiped out a good amount of the populations -- a flood that matches up with every culture's records of a huge flood, including the christians' story of noah's ark? about all of the planets in our system, and the fact that there is a 12th planet with an orbit so huge that we only see it about every 3000 years. and what have scientists recently discovered? a gravitational wobbliness of pluto, meaning there is a planet behind it, but we haven't seen it yet because the orbit it so huge. according to the sumerians, the gods who created us live on the 12th planet, and that planet is due to meet up with us in 150 years. that is so soon. hence my frequent statements last night of "my god, that is creepy." i've been thinking about it so much since last night. in fact, i was so spooked after ben left that i didn't go to bed immediately -- i read his michael crichton book for a while to get my mind on something else before going to sleep.

it's going to be really hot today. and...i've gotta go call sarah because i haven't talked to her in forever. byeee!

love
