hurrah for eumir deodato

i swear it was gorgeous outside not ten minutes ago, and now it's all cloudy and shtuff. that's okay, though. and hey, at least i got home before the rain could begin.
i feel like this week has kind of flown by, like *poof* it's the weekend. that's okay, though. even though i can sometimes get stressed out with the craziness of the restaurant on friday and saturday nights, i still love it. it's nice to work with esmeralda and all the nightshift servers. and there's always stuff to do. love it. i also like that i'm basically in charge now. since ali stopped being manager on friday and saturday nights, it's all up to esmeralda and i to handle the front desk. it was tough at first but now we're great at it and it just feels really good to be so in-control. so even though my job isn't brain surgery or working toward world peace, i still like it. and i get free food. yum!
i wonder where my benji is. he must have gone for a walk somewhere, i don't see his ipod anywhere. too bad he didn't wait for me, i would've loved to go for a walk.
so i watched a portion of the westminster dogshow yesterday because jo ellen taped it for me, and i learned the name of the breed that i've loved since forever -- burmese mountain dog. they are SO cute. i want a puppy burmese mountain dog, with all of its fluffy fur, cute eyes, and limbs and paws that are too big for it. i would take such good care of him or her...*sigh* someday.
i might be going to san francisco tomorrow night after work to see the festivities for the chinese new year. i'm way excited. it would be me, benji, joe and carolyn. i hope it happens! i love san francisco.
i love chocolate, too...mmm...dessert time. happy friday to all!
