Ladies Night...quiz...Prom complaints, and other shtuff

hi. it's sunday. superbowl's on i hear. yeehaa...i don't care for football at all. i'm in an okay mood. i just ate a little ice cream and it was really swete and now i have that nasty sugariness all over my tongue and it won't go away. ewww.

i had fun last night, the girls came over and we watched movies. Exorcist and 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag. love those movies. oooh my god exorcist is so scary. karie and sarah didn't think much of it but megan and i were freaked out. i've seen it before, too, but for some reason it seemed like i was seeing new material last night.

well my homework is done. i don't even know if i'll study a lot for my history quiz tomrrow. why bother, ya know? i got a 30 on the first quiz he gave us and my grade was barely touched from it. do your homework and study hard for tests, and you're fine. galby is crazy tho, he never teaches. he just sorta throws out a fact of the past in between stories of his years on the police force. if you don't catch those random facts then oh well, too bad. in the last minute of class he says, "read sections 2 and 3." and that's it. consider yourself taught. whew! my chem teacher bugs me because everything is an opinion, and one to which she feels she must remain neutral. these opinions are all towards everything. mostly facts. like, "what is the valence of Barium?" and she'll say, "well....it's could be this but i'm not suuuure...." maybe she thinks she's helping us with guessing games. or she's just dumb.

well here's the scoop...i want to go to the Chilli Peppers + Foo Fighters concert in May on a sunday, but prom is the friday just before it. and suppose i have SATs on saturday morning, which they'd better not do to us. that weekend will be so stressful. and i don't even have an idea for a date anymore. the friend i wanted to go with decided he's totally against prom because there is too much focus on it. yeah, um...whatever Ben. it's PROM!! when i get out of HS, i would rather say, "man, what a great prom we had!!!" as opposed to "well gosh, the water fountains always worked!"

I love the Mamas and the Papas. what an amazing band they were! my mom bought their greatest hits album (cuz i begged her:o) and i've been listening to "Creeque Alley," "Dream a Little Dream of Me," "Words of Love," and lots of other ones...the past can be very inspirational.

well that *situation* hasn't truly become a situation. but just knowing it is enough to make me feel kinda funky and i don't like it much. sometimes ignorance is a good thing, but i suppose the truth can't always be avoided. Aye aye, Captain, i'm confusin' people! woohoo(c;

hi megan, hi sarah, hi karie, how are you gals doing?

i had e-mailed LK to explain some things i'd been thinking about for a while. and we e-mailed each other back a few times and now i regret having sent more than one letter. why did i do that??? --smacking myself-- bad move, bad move!

oh, the things i would change if i could turn back the clock. i guess it's how we learn though. k...gonna go talk to my friend tina now. later ya'll
