SHS's SYMPHONIC BAND FESTIVAL SCORE: 87 out of 90!!!!!
only one school got a higher score than us (88) and another school tied us. the next highest score was an 83. conclusion? we kick ass. ooooh yes we do. we had a huge party the next day to celebrate how much ass we do, in fact, kick. there were about 20 schools that participated in this.
tina already had her prom. she said, "yeah i had fun, everyone was like 'tina, ur date is so fuckin hot', and i was like 'i know!'" i had actually told her that everyone would say that to her. and i remember her saying, "i hope so!" funny how things work out.
i've been listening to the beatles all day. sarah did you like "this boy"? if that phrigged up substitute dude hadn't been all, "do some studying", everything woulda been cooliebeans. but NO. ugh. what a loser. i was almost ok with it until he repeated it and smacked my history book like i was demented and hadn't heard him. and his half ass speech on 'why i don't use white-out'...i was ready to leave immediately. douchebag. blech to him!
today is beautiful. my interview is friday. a close friend of mine just started a new job yesterday and he loves it. i'm going to see my brother this weekend. it is sunset right now. there is still no snow on the ground. pinch me, this moment is flawless.
i have to write a research paper for history, anything topic i want, within the 1900-2000 boundary. *music* sounds like a "luffly" topic, wouldn't you say, tink?
napster is working again but the library is completely bare. i still have all the files, they're just not...in the library. so i'm sharing a whole 4 songs as opposed to 230. ha! i will need to figure this out. definitely, yes yes.
