a peach ain't a peach without an ass crack.

fresh in my mind / your fascination with me / so easily, you slipped into the role / uninfluenced by stereotypes and other outside voices / but i, so afraid, said goodbye / before they even had a chance to speak.

i still see you / and hear you / sometimes you're even in my dreams... / do you ever marvel at the dragging of time / or am i completely gone from your mind?

a'ight, enough poetry for one entry. today was school day #2. hmm...school and poop have a lot in common, i just realized.

i like my english teacher. how often am i given an assignment that i look forward to? assignment #1, i looked forward to doing. i enjoyed writing it, although it didn't make as much sense as i'd hoped. i am very happy in that class.

this isn't exactly a new problem, but even more students are enrolled at SHS now and the lunches are outrageous. i understand that it would totally fark up the scheduling plan that the school has used for so many years if they added another lunch period, but this is getting to be a bit much. there are so many kids eating lunch that there is absolutely no air being circulated and one can't breathe without breaking into a sweat. EW. not only that, but i was in the lunch line for so long that when i finally sat down to eat my chicken thing, i only got three bites before the bell rang. frazzled? you'd better believe i was. and ya'll KNOW how much i love food in the first place, let alone having been running on empty the whole morning. grrrrrrrrrr.

other than that, everything seems good. i have tomorrow off, and monday (of course). so although i have a buttload of assignments to do, i don't have to worry about them right away.

we are going to have open campus for lunches during 2nd semester, woohoo. well, i actually think it's just for seniors but who knows.

yesterday when we were all going back in from the firedrill, i (along with every other senior) had my senior t-shirt on and the freshmen saw it and walked waaaay around me, like i was going to beat their tushies or something. part of me wanted to tell them that it doesn't matter that i'm older, but the other part of me found it amusing and enjoyed the show.

everyone keeps coming up to me and asking, "why is there an apple on your (senior) shirt?" and i have to tell them all that it isn't an apple...it's a peach. the guy who painted it didn't spray on a peach crack, so this peach is butt-crackless and looks like an apple, especially with the leaf he painted on. hmmm!

this is a long entry, no? i think it is. quite enough for now, too. later tater tots.
